A city marathon held in Kathmandu since 2007, starting and finishing at the Dasharath Rangasala in Tripureshwor. Eight categories run from the marathon down to 3 km school, open and family races, all set off between 05:30 and 07:00.

Nepali runners: marathon NPR 1,000 rising to 2,500; half 800-2,500; 10K 600-1,500; 5K 400-1,000; 3K 400-500; family run 1,200-1,950. International and SAARC rates are charged in US dollars.
