A point-to-point marathon from the monument at Cape Sōya, Japan’s northernmost point, finishing at the Wakkanai Port North Breakwater Dome. Held by the city on its Peace Day, with shorter 8 km, 5 km and 2 km races starting later in the morning.

Marathon JPY 10,000, 8 km JPY 3,000, 5 km JPY 2,000, 2 km JPY 1,000 and 2 km pairs JPY 1,000 per pair. School-age entrants pay JPY 1,000, and pupils living or studying in Wakkanai enter free.
