Iwate Morioka City Marathon

A road marathon in Morioka in northern Japan, starting and finishing at the Kitagin Ball Park on a course certified by the Japan Association of Athletics Federations. A 12.1 km fun run finishing at the Morioka Hachimangu shrine and a 1.3 km pair run share the Sunday, with children’s races on the Saturday. Finishers receive a medal cast in local Nambu ironware.
