Marathon Amersfoort, held yearly since 2009 and moving to early April from 2027, is a running and walking day starting on the Eemlaan and finishing on the Eemplein with a half marathon of two 10.5 km laps, 10 km and 5 km runs, walks of 5 to 25 km, mini marathons for schoolchildren and a Saturday training marathon, organised by Stichting Marathon Amersfoort.
