Day 6 of the nine-day, 366-mile MTC SCOTIA end-to-end challenge across Scotland, this roughly 39-mile stage runs from Forces Manor near Kingussie to Inverness, with 2,256ft of ascent. It is named after the beithir, a dragon-like serpent from Scottish mythology.
