Day 2 of the nine-day, 366-mile MTC SCOTIA end-to-end challenge across Scotland, this 31.3-mile stage runs from Innerleithen to Edinburgh Airport through the Borders and central Lowlands, with about 2,793ft of ascent. It is named after the Glaistig, a shapeshifting 'Green Maiden' from Scottish folklore.
