Day 1 of the thirteen-day, 503-mile MTC Albion end-to-end challenge across England, this roughly 38-mile stage starts at Gretna Green on the Scottish border and finishes in Penrith, following the same route as the longer JOGLE event. It is named after the boggart, a mischievous trickster spirit from English folklore.
