Day 3 of the nine-day, 366-mile MTC SCOTIA end-to-end challenge across Scotland, this roughly 41-mile stage runs from Edinburgh Airport through Rosyth and Kelty to Perth, with about 2,712ft of ascent. It is named after the Nuckelavee, a horse-and-human demon of Orcadian folklore.
