A three-day, roughly 90-100km trail stage race across the Andes between Argentina and Chile, founded in 2002, crossing alpine terrain past volcanoes and glacial lakes with runners crossing the border on foot. Competitors race solo or in pairs and rest at lakeside camps between stages.
