The Magdeburg Marathon is run each October in Magdeburg on the Elbe. The marathon covers two half-marathon laps, and the programme also has a half marathon, 10 km, a 4.2 km mini marathon, four-person team races, walking and Nordic walking events and a 400 m children’s run. Everything starts in Tessenowstraße and finishes on the exhibition grounds.
